Effective
schools are a result of families and school staff working together to ensure
that children are successful in school.
The purpose of this contract is to communicate a common understanding of
home and school responsibilities to assure that every student attains high
standards and quality education.
As
a parent/guardian I pledge to:
- Expect good grades and good behavior from
my child.
- Make sure my child attends school daily and
arrives on time.
- Attend school functions and
student-parent-teacher conferences.
- Talk with my child about his/her school
activities each day.
- Encourage good study habits and completion
of homework assignments.
- Work with my child a minimum of four hours
per month, with at least one hour spent at school.
As
a teacher I pledge to:
- Expect good grades and good behavior from
my students.
- Be the best teacher and leader I can be.
- Communicate often with students and
parents.
- Hold four student-parent-teacher
conferences.
- Provide a safe, pleasant and caring
classroom.
- Involve parents in school activities.
As
a student I pledge to:
- Do my best in class.
- Do my homework.
- Talk about school with my parents.
- Have a positive attitude and show respect.
- Come to school ready to work and learn.
- Follow school and classroom rules.
